Tips for Packing your knives, shears, and blades
Clean your items, this prevents any residue from causing damage or corrosion:
Wash and thoroughly dry your knives.
Wipe down and oil shears and blades.
Protect your items:
Use dedicated knife sleeves, shear cases, or blade boxes if you have them.
If you don't have sleeves or cases, wrap each blade individually with several layers of newspaper or bubble wrap. Ensure the wrapping covers the entire edge.
For extra protection, you can wrap the wrapped items in additional layers of packing paper.
Secure the wrapping with tape.
Organize the items in the Box:
Choose a sturdy cardboard box that is appropriately sized for the number of items.
Place the wrapped items inside the box, ensuring they don't shift or rub against each other during transit.
Fill any empty space in the box with packing material (packing peanuts, crumpled newspaper, bubble wrap) to prevent movement.
Seal the Box:
Place your completed order form inside and close the box securely with strong packing tape. Tape all seams and edges to prevent the box from opening during shipping.
Label the Box:
Clearly label the box with your return address and our shipping address.
Consider adding a "Fragile" label to the box to alert the shipping carrier to handle it with care.
Consider Insurance:
The package may be insured for the items’ full replacement value, if you choose to insure your package we will match your insurance on the return package and add the cost to your invoice.
